Hi All,
Could someone please tell me where I may be able to get insurance that covers skin care if you are doing parties and markets? I can get public liabilty, but find it difficult to get product liability

Hi,
I would try an insurance broker, or even make enquiries with Suncorp or Allianz. It is difficult to get, and can be quite expensive.
A girlfriend of mine who started her own business and branched into party plan, went through a broker up the sunshine coast qld, but it cost her $1200 a year, and not sure if it covered markets.

Hi,
Well, our products are not skincare, but we have just taken out insurance with AAMI, to cover stock, equipment(computer, phone etc), public liability, product liability all comprehensively covered while in the home office, at parties, on the road and also for stalls, expos etc (limit of 12 expos per yr) for under $900 per year, with a pay by the month option.
This was the cheapest quote we could find for FULL business insurance. Some others seemed cheaper, but left out a lot of those types of cover. Some other agents were a lot more expensive too, particularly if you want cover for expo's.
Hope this helps,
Hennypenny.
