Scrapbooking partyplans?

Discussions : General discussion : Scrapbooking partyplans?

Hi Everyone

Is there anyone here who is a consultant for a scrapbooking partyplan?  I have had a quick look at TLC but just wondering if there are anymore apart from Creative Memories and Crafty Kids.  I am just about to start doing Photo Block Mount Boards to add to the products on my site, and will be needing papers etc.... so thought it would probably be better for me to join up with something and get the products cheaper!  Thanks

Hi Jenny,

There is not much around anymore in the scrapbooking party plan area because I was looking just to get items for making things too. I have found that you can get better buys form scrapbooking shops than on offer from party plans. Up here in Brissy the scrapping shops have up to 40% off sales and you would not that much discount if you were a consultant with a scrapping party plan company.

I came across one today - www.scrapbookingmadeeasy.com.au havea look there and enquiry what their discount rate is.

Cheers

Janine

Are you Brisbane ladies?

I know there is a member on here, would have to search for her.  She is north side of Brisbane, I think she does TLC , not sure, but she has a HUGE shop also at her house.

Let me know if you want me to look for her.

I am Julie in Brissy. I know TLC and what they offer. Just not fussed buying form the USA. I have some great scrapping shops within 15min and I know I can save a fair bit in cost often at them.

Thanks guys I will email Jenny see what she has.  I am in Kalgoorlie WA, and only one small scrapbooking shop here - plus I am moving out to Coolgardie so would be good if I can order things on line.

Hi Jennie,

I am a consultant with Creative Memories but I only buy product for myself and have friends who buy through me - I don't do classes or workshops, etc. Unless you have a group of people who buy from you it is hard to keep up with the required sales to stay active. Another place you can look is the stamping pp's - a lot of them sell scrapbooking stuff too. Stampin Up is one, and I think there is another just called Stamp It??? I am going to a party for one tomorrow night so I could tell you more after that.

I am with Crafty Kids and there will be a lot of changes to our range in the next month... as they say watch this space for news!!!!

I love Crafty Kids and find there is very little I need to purchase from elsewhere, and the support offered to consultants is brilliant. It is also great that so much of our product is designed by our own consultants and made here.

We have recently become the Australian Distributor for Clearsnap which has added some great things to the range, and are also now starting to sell lots of EK Success and Pebbles Inc products... with more to come early next month.

I looked at TLC also, but decided the postage costs alone would kill of any savings I could make through them, and everything was soooo American.

There are a of lot of great scrapbook bargains to be had on Ebay as well, lots of stores there stocking some great stuff, you just have to take the time to hunt through them.
