Hey how's this for stupid.
I just bought a brand new printer from officeworks. Got it all set up. Then opened the print head from its new sealed foil bag. It had blue ink traces in it. And when you set it on a piece of white paper, it leaked blue water!!!!!! I rang officeworks and this is a definite NO GO - they are supposed to be brand new. So now I have to take print head back for replacement. Luckily Darling Husband is doing it for me. But is demanding they open the print head there and then for him to inspect.

Printers are the bane of my existance at the moment, I pine for the days when I worked for a big nasty company and the printers were devine *sigh*

Husband takes it in. Computer / printer guru man comes to help him. Investigates and says, oh no, thats all fine, that just the lube to make it work properly. GRRRRRRRRR at stoopid girl who told us that it was faulty and to bring it back in. (She even put me on hold and went and checked with someone, so grrrrrrrrrrr at them too). Not happy Hubby.

ring head office and put in a complaint about being made to travel back and forth again when there was actually no problem, you should get some sort of compensation for your trouble, even if it's just another set of cartridges, most big companies are quick to try and satisfy disgruntled customer's. also ring the manufacturer they may send you a new print head aswell.

P.S I just got a new set of pram wheels for my pram as it is only twelve months old and already has bald tyre's
also got another packet of nappies last week as a couple of nappies had faulty tabs on them.
try it you will be amazed at what you get.
