Colours May Affect Your Sales
RED: is known internationally as the ultimate buying colour. The colour of lust,passion,anger....the attention getter. used in small amounts it is the best colour to stimulate sales. If overused it can be a turn off to more subtle customers Use red to draw a customers attention to a specific message or display are you want them to focus on
ORANGE: is known as the most irritaiting colour to the eye & is proven to be the least favourite colour in the world.Orange is also known as the colour of creativity sexuality & is associated with affordability
PURPLES &VIOLETS: These colours like orange are very subjective, people either love em or hate em purple is associated with siprituality & healing
BLUE: Is the all time best seller & is the most favorite colour in the world it is considered the colour of communication with light blue leading fantasy & dark blue the colour of authority & power it is the water colour that congers up vison of peacefulness & flights of fantasy
GREEN: is relaxng a colour of tranquility & healing it is the earth bringing us thoughts of the outdoors the forrest grass & dreamy meadows it is a passive not a stimulating colour
YELLOW: is the first colour seen by the retina yellow works as a good focus or attention getting colour a good accent when used in moderation yellow is a 'stop & ponder' colour
BROWN: is the colour of the earth wood & nature it denotes natural or traditional values light wood shades are associated with affordability dark shades with richness & opulance brown offers a relaxed casual feeling
NEUTRALS: Black or white are always safe & affective accent. They enhance the primary colours when used as a back drop to create contrast alone they can give off a sterile institutional feeling
PASTELS: What makes them so popular is that they belend well with the going trends of the season mix & match them with whatever colour theme u are working with the softer shades allow u to blend in with other primary colours & often makes the buying easier for the consumer.
Colours can send a very powerful message
Use the right colour to get the response u want from your customer

OH and BTW pink is NOT the best colour to market to a woman. It is a colour that may make you turn women off. Pink has a stigma attached to it. Too girly. Woman don't want to be girly and want to hold the power to purchase in their own hands.
