I personally never have any problems getting bookings, but I have also been in the industry for over 10 years, and could get party bookings selling stilllettos to grandmas with walking sticks!!!

I don't find net shopping/stores etc ANY kind of competition what soever - we (as in ADULT PARTY PLAN) are offering a totally different and unique service.  There is so much more to what we can do/give a customer !!!  They will keep returning to you for sure!!\

Let us know some more info, either on here or pm and I will try and give some more specifics for you.

I have been in the industry for only a year although it feels like more lol. I am more than happy to help with ideas for bookings. What area are you in, with what company? I find personally the best way to get bookings is word of mouth. When talking to people I always tell them what I do and it generally goes from there someone nearly always knows someone who will be interested

Hi Rayray,  Karratha would be like Cairns..... Hang in there darl as the bookings will pick up. Also depends on travel!  I have been with Horny Little Devils for 12months and still find it difficult in getting the bookings other than those by word of mouth.  I struggle all the time and wonder if its worth it!  (Oops sorry to the boss!)

All ideas welcomed with open arms I agree .....

No offence taken Kathy, I still love ya  I know how hard it is to get people in smaller areas to book parties. My advise is....Tell everyone what you do, never let the oppotunity to promote yourself slip by the wayside....Word of mouth is a wonderful marketing tool, use it to your advantage. Offer them something extra if they book a show with you. Be excited about what you do and you will find people will get excited too. Good luck.

I always find that someone owes me a favour some where... call in as many as you can think of... And you no that simple minded easily confused friend or relative that everyone has? They are gold... they seem to no heaps of people and are generally a good starting place....
 listen to me... my whole 2 parties worth of experience....

Just remember though those favours are going to run out at some stage, you have to stand on your own two feet as well and network.  And, then favours always generate more favours, and then you owe them one..........where does it stop?

'Favours' u call in....... are all good & well to start with & I am sure u have many people that "owe" u a favour here & there......
one's that will have a party for u GREAT TO HAVE But they can only do so many for u.........

You really need to BRANCH out & get NEW people to book parties
(people u dont know etc) so then u can meet more people & expand on ya party plan business

Party Plan biz are not going to last when u rely all the time on JUST
"family/friends/neighbours etc" in the end what u will find they will get sick of what u have to offer HARSH but True SORRY
(i know from personal experience when i started in my biz long time ago)

This is fine when u first start out..... get u started ITS GREAT especially when u have great sales...........but one would think u want your biz to last with a client base u really had to go find & work hard to get NEW CUSTOMERS for etc etc & build your party plan biz with NEW CLIENTELE ................SORRY

I apologise if my comments offend BUT being in business for yourself is alot of hard BUT FUN & rewarding work & we know we will always get sales from people we know.....u want to continue this by adding clients to ya list that u dont know BRANCH OUT  

My personal thought..............if i was that "simple minded....... confused friend OR relative"............
I would be very UPSET if i knew someone was thinking of me in that way & I said YES to having a party for em - when you are asking them "a favour" to help get u started in ya new venture I am sure u mean well too.............

but if those "Simple minded" people etc actually are helping u make money
I THINK THEY DESERVE BIT MORE CREDIT........................ Sorry

Thank you for the ideas, I'm quite a shy person when I approach people about my adult business I do all the advertising and all that stuff. It's just I get strange looks when I tell them what I do!! But I wont give up cause I love adults lingeries, as for the "favours" I don't do that cause no one owes me any!!
