Hi! I am selling the new VALESKA range of jewellery and have a small kit of jewellery for my parties, so will be relying heavily on the use of the catalgue. Any advice on how to hold their attention with only limited phyical product, and get the message through the catalogue?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi James,
I have found that nothing beats the women trying on the jewellery. It always looks so much better when they try it on.
Jewellery is ownership and when a women trys on a piece of Jewellery and all the women go " wow that looks really good" she feels like this piece belongs to her.
When I do show the catalogues around the women always always say, :" it looks so much better in real life.
I am worried that if you rely on catalogues you could be losing a lot of sales that way.
My sales increased 100% once I built up my showcase. I know by experience people love to see and try on the real thing.
anyway this has worked for me, sorry I could not be of much more help
cheers

I agree totally with marina.
The more a woman can try on.....the more she buys

Don't be too discouraged James!
I sell ladies clothing, another item that people generally like to try on, and I can honestly say that I can still sell from my catalogues.
It all comes down to fantastic product knowledge.
The more you know about your products, the better you can sell them, whether you have them to display or not.
Use your enthusiasm and passion for your goods and fill your head with knowledge about the pieces and you'll be able to sell :)
