Hi All
I am organising a fundraiser for our cub group. The plan is that we will be having a monster garage sale, some stalls, jumping castle and some party plans. The event will be advertised in school newsletters , local paper and radio stations. The cost will be $25 per stall plus a donation for a raffle. I am hoping to do it in June. We are interested in party plans that sell the following:
*Kids clothing
*Educational Products
*Tupperware
*Jewellery
*Toys
*Bags etc
*Scrapbooking
I have UCW and Nutrimetics consultants already.
We are also interested in small stalls such as people that make their own jewellery or home made products.
As this in the early stages I have not confirmed the jumping castle, fairy floss etc so if you know anyone that would be interested please let me know, we do want some one to do this who charge per child and the group gets a % of the sales for the day or a set amount for being there.. I have sent off some emails tonight but would really like to support a small business if possible.
We intend to make this BIG with lots of advertising and support from local radio station etc.

I will post more details as soon as more details are confirmed.

I now have:

We are keeping this at a maximum of 8 party plans.
If any one else wants to join in please let me know. I have also got confirmation of jumping castle, and local radio station will be in attendance and promoting the day .

The date at this stage looks like June 16th, but I won't have this confirmed until I get the groups activities roster, I am hoping to get this no later than next Monday.

What a brilliant suggestion and I am most certainly comming on board
If you require any help at all in setting up or finalising any details, I would be more than happy to help you out.
Just let me know of all the final details and when payment is required....

I won't be setting a payment date until I have everything confirmed. We are having a meeting for this fundraiser in two weeks, I was hoping to do this next week but school holidays. Then it will be full steam ahead. I am excited about this, and I have lots of support from the other parents in the group so I am sure it will be a great day. I have planned for it to be finished by 2pm and that still leaves time for all the party planners to still do a party if they desire.
There is a pub just up the road so maybe after the event we should all go for a drink if we are not heading off for parties.
