Party Plan is not your 'normal' job/career, so it has different problems, unheavals and bendfits. 

It is nice to relate to others in the same boat so to speak and know that all problems and also benefits of the 'job' are really generic - doesn't matter which company your are with.

It is also a constant reminder of just how lucky I am to be with my company, when you see the pressures put on by others.
