Customer service is paramount to our business.

In some instances we rely on our customers so much we should consider them a raving fan?

Yes sounds odd, but what kind of relationships do you have with your customers?

Feel free to post your opinion and ideas on the matter.

I thought we could all list one DO and one Don't about Customer Service:

I'll start off

Do: give customer solutions

Don't play the blame something or anyone else game

Lesson: This also applies to knowing your products, a customer wants someone who knows what they want and can offer them something. In some instances you can't but can say "I'll get back to you on that". But in a customers view, and I'm sure we have had past experiences of this, we want to know now! We tend to get a little thrown off someone who can't answer questions in regards to a product they sell etc.
