Oh Tanya you have brought back some memories. My brother used to live across the "paddock" from the Curramundi Pub. When we visited him we would quite often go to Moffat Beach as it wasn't that far away. He lived there many years ago and last time we were up there we were surprised at how much everything has changed.

Unfortunately we don't get up there much any more as my brother was killed in an accident up there in 1988. His partners parents still live there and we have relatives in Brisbane so we still pop up for a visit when we are in Brissie. It's such a lovelly part of the world. I'll have to make sure to get in contact when we are next up there and I can join you for a cake or two or three or.........I Loooooove cake.

Actually... we live across the "paddock" from the Curramundi Pub. (But the paddock was developed into a massive townhouse/resort development about 10 years ago). I have to walk around it to get to the bottle shop!

I've just realised that I do have to pop out for a couple of hours on saturday morning as I'm working at a baby show, but other than that I'm free :)

My mum lives near Kings beach, so I'll be based there, but if you locals would like to pick somewhere nice to meet that would be great :)

Me, I just love that $2 shop in Caloundra.............oh I could (and do) spend a fortune in there on well, just cr*p really!!!  LOL

But I have to admit, driving along Caloundra Road, and you come to the crest and you are greeted by that beautiful coast line, rolling blue water..........oh I do love that!!!
